Australian fishermen finally caught a mother great white shark and had to get rough with it to scare off the aggressive creature.
The shark swam into the nets as the crew from the Douglas McBride Charters dive boat was returning from a successful shark capture, the Australian Associated Press reported.

Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumour (MPNST) is a very rare type of soft-tissue sarcoma, arising from a Schwann cell population of peripheral nerve sheath. The aim of the study was to evaluate the clinical spectrum, histopathological findings and prognosis in these patients. A retrospective analysis of the clinical and histopathological data of 41 MPNST patients diagnosed in our institution between 2000 and 2013 was performed. Patients were stratified in regard to clinical presentation and histological subtype. Recurrence-free and overall survival rates were determined. Two histological subtypes were identified: epithelioid and spindle MPNST. MPNST presented as a solitary mass or tumour recurrence in 85% of patients. One-third of patients had an affected extremity, with the upper extremity affected most frequently (29%). Primary tumours were histologically of a non-NF1-related sarcoma in 57% of patients, most often high-grade sarcomas. Median follow-up was 30 months. Metastatic disease was found in 8 of the 20 patients with a non-NF1-related sarcoma and in none of the patients with a NF1-related sarcoma. Five-year overall and recurrence-free survival were 40% and 50%, respectively.
