Being a newbie of computer savvy I looked them up and chose the option «Backup your files».
I restarted my system with all the aforementioned issues still present.
Since I had no anti-malware program installed and couldn’t install the software I had to do a clean install of Windows 7.
I used the «Backup and Restore» from Windows 7 to perform a bootable cd/dvd hard drive to perform a new installation. The install worked great.
